Two Arrested in Savannah Armed Robbery Linked to Online Marketplace Meetup

SAVANNAH, Georgia — Two young men are facing serious charges after police say an online marketplace exchange turned into an armed robbery.

The Savannah Police Department arrested 20-year-old Tyquan Floyd and 18-year-old Ryan Scott in connection to a Feb. 3 robbery in the 2000 block of Tuskegee Street. Both were taken into custody the same day.

Around 3:05 p.m., officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the location. Investigators determined the incident stemmed from an in-person meetup arranged through an online marketplace. Fortunately, no injuries were reported…
