When news broke that Oscar de la Renta would headline the 21st Symphony Fashion Show, buzz flooded Nashville’s social scene. To amp up the excitement, the Nashville Symphony has announced that country superstar Lainey Wilson will take the stage.
“With Oscar de la Renta returning to the Symphony Fashion Show after 14 years, we knew we needed an equally iconic entertainer,” says Nashville Symphony president and CEO Alan Valentine in a press release. “Lainey Wilson is one of the most significant and influential women in country music today, and we could not imagine a better musical partner for Oscar de la Renta’s runway magic.”
Wilson, a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, is riding the high of her acclaimed album Whirlwind and anticipating upcoming headline shows across Australia and New Zealand. But the singer says Symphony Fashion Show will be particularly special.
