Grand Chute’s search for administrator stalls after finalist withdraws

Greg Peterson, Grand Chute’s interim town administrator, will have a longer stay in office than either he or the Town Board initially envisioned.

Peterson retired as police chief in September and subsequently was hired as interim town administrator after the previous town administrator, Richard Downey, resigned.

The town hired Public Administration Associates of Whitewater for $21,150 to assist with the search for a permanent administrator. The plan was to have the new administrator in place by late 2025 or early 2026…
