‘She is kind of my hero’: Kansas mother saves son’s life with CPR, urges other to learn

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Hutchinson mother is credited with saving her son’s life after performing CPR while a 911 dispatcher coached her through every step.

The family is sharing their story to remind others just how critical CPR training can be.

In November, 18-year-old Amarion Sanchez-Thompson collapsed without warning after going into cardiac arrest.
