Anchorage-based Alaska Photo Treks’ owner, Carl, heard a knock on his front door recently and found a very unexpected visitor when he opened it. A friendly baby moose calf was eagerly waiting to be invited inside, and didn’t want to take no for an answer!
Make sure your sound is on so you can hear Carl chatting with the moose, breaking the news to him that he wasn’t going to be coming into the house. Even after the man closed the door, the calf stood there, peeking in through the glass and hoping that he’d change his mind!
We always tell tour guests that we could encounter the 1,000 moose in the Anchorage area at any time.
