Frigid air and freezing temperatures are finally coming to an end in New York, at least temporarily.
The state has dealt with bitter cold and heavy snow for weeks, with dozens of inches dumped in upstate New York. In Syracuse alone, 119 inches of snow have been recorded so far this winter season, according to the National Weather Service.
Now forecasts are showing some temporary relief from the cold. On Tuesday, much of New York state will see temperatures above freezing. For some areas, that would be a first in many weeks…
