HAMPTON, Va. — Officials at Langley Air Force Base say a vehicle fire outside one of the installation’s gates earlier Monday morning has been cleared and access has been restored.
According to base officials, emergency personnel responded to a self-contained vehicular fire outside the La Salle Gate earlier this morning. Officials said there were no reported injuries.
The fire has since been extinguished, and the vehicle involved has been removed from the area. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation…
