Local grand jury issues indictments for wanton endangerment crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, assault and robbery crimes on Friday.

Twenty-seven-year-old Charity Berry of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after she reportedly drove her car into a ditch while under the influence of alcohol early in the morning on December 15, 2025. Berry was indicted with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Twenty-seven-year-old Devon Bumpus of Clarksville was indicted for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm after he reportedly engaged in conduct that created a risk of death or serious injury for two individuals on December 2, 2025. In the same incident, 24-year-old Logan Levitts of Clarksville was also charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, as well as first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia…
