Edgar Cayce celebration planned for March in his hometown of Christian County

HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County will celebrate the work of psychic Edgar Cayce on Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22, 2026. Join them downtown for a weekend full of activities that center around Edgar Cayce’s roots in Christian County and the major impact he continues to make throughout the world.

Born in Christian County in 1877, Edgar Cayce displayed great gifts of clairvoyance that he used to help thousands of people overcome health and other problems. Widely known as the “Sleeping Prophet,” Cayce is credited at being an early force in holistic medicine and in the New Age movement. His lifetime work continues to provide healthy living goals, spiritual ideals, and life lessons today.

Keynote speakers, activities planned

Keynote speaker Adam Stokes is a published author, professor, and scholar with degrees in religion from Duke University and Yale Divinity School. His presentation, “Atlantis Today: The Phenomenon of Soul Groups from the Last Civilization,” will bring an academic framework to Cayce’s esoteric tradition, drawing on Stokes’ own research in ancient civilizations, classical studies, and biblical history.
