COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-The First Alert forecast is warming up, with temperatures climbing into the 70s just around the corner. Overnight lows will remain mild as well, ranging from the mid to upper 40s and into the 50s by midweek.
A weak front will brush the area midweek. Due to its orientation, it won’t bring much moisture or energy into the region. Expect increased cloud cover on Wednesday, with the chance for only a few light, spotty showers. After that, temperatures warm back up heading into the latter part of the week.
Attention then turns to Friday and the weekend, as a low-pressure system develops over the Rockies and digs southeastward into a deep trough. This system is expected to move through Alabama late Sunday morning and into early afternoon across our Georgia counties…
