Long-awaited John’s Pass dredging project to begin Monday

MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — After decades of sand buildup clogging the channel, Madeira Beach officials will begin a dredging project Monday at Johns Pass to improve safety for pedestrians, boaters, and visitors.

For Captain Dylan Hubbard, fourth-generation owner of Hubbard’s Marina, this project has been nearly 30 years in the making.
