The homicide case against a Pennsylvania state parole agent is moving ahead in Erie County Common Pleas Court with limited clarity about why the District Attorney’s Office believes the fatal shooting equals first-degree murder.
More details on the prosecution’s theory of the case could emerge soon, at the formal arraignment for the defendant, Kevin J. Seelinger, charged in the July 2 killing of Erie parolee Marchello D. Woodard.
