Every few months, we love to drive the back roads to Burlington or Elon to document the changes along the way. This past weekend, we stopped at this property in the 6600 area of Bethel Church Road. This abandoned house has likely experienced its last snow. Vines and branches have consumed it and the property has been cleared, likely for a housing development. There is one visible from the back yard. The eastern end of Guilford County is really growing. The Publix distribution center is near this property.
While snow had all but melted on even the more rural roads, this yard held onto snow and deer footprints days longer than others. It will be interesting to see what will be built in the place of this old home. Over the years of GDP, we find our photos…..
