Proposal would protect nearly 6K acres along Waccamaw River in Horry and Georgetown

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Thousands of acres of the Waccamaw River could be protected through an expansion proposal.

This comes as Horry County sees more than a 60% increase in population since 2010.
