A nursing student had just a 1% chance of survival after she was impaled while driving her car on a California highway last summer.
Now she’s thanking the first responders who saved her life, calling them her “angels.”
On Aug. 25, 2025, Janina Akporavbare was on the 10 Freeway in San Bernardino with her brother in the backseat when a pole sliced into the bottom part of her vehicle and she was left critically injured, according to CBS station KCBS…
