CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WJAR) — The Roman Catholic Bishop of Providence led a group of about 75 people in prayers across the street from the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls on Saturday.
The “Rosary for Migrants” was the third sidewalk prayer event held by the Catholic diocese near the prison since December 22 of last year.
According to the Diocese of Providence the prayers were intended to support “our migrant brothers and sisters who are detained at the Wyatt Detention Center.”…
