Cordova police nab 2 for mailbox burglary, stolen mail recovered

Witness report and real-time technology help officers track suspects to Watt Avenue area

RANCHO CORDOVA — Alert reporting by a community member and the use of real-time police technology led to the arrest of two suspects accused of breaking into a cluster mailbox and stealing mail in Rancho Cordova, according to the Rancho Cordova Police Department.

Police said patrol officers were dispatched after a witness reported seeing two individuals forcibly breaking into a cluster mailbox, removing mail, and then leaving the area in a black sedan.
