Rossford mayor names new police chief

ROSSFORD, Ohio — Rossford’s mayor has named the city’s next police chief, pending city council approval, after Todd Kitzler announced his retirement last week.

Neil MacKinnon on Monday announced his promotion of Lt. Craig Revill, who has served the Rossford community for over 25 years and was the department’s first officer to ever attain the rank of lieutenant.

Revill told WTOL 11 that he will assume the role in April, when Kitzler intends to step down. Revill will succeed Kitzler’s leadership of more than seven years…
