(FOX40.COM) — One suspect has been arrested and another remains at large after an armed robbery and multi-agency pursuit on Saturday that ended with a crash in Sacramento County.
According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, around 2:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of an armed robbery involving multiple victims at a business in the 6400 block of Sunrise Boulevard. Police said a firearm was used during the robbery, and two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
Just a few minutes later, Citrus Heights police reported that as the vehicle entered Sacramento County, deputies already staged and attempted a felony traffic stop. A brief pursuit started before the vehicle crashed into an embankment near Hillsdale Boulevard and Greenhome Drive, which is adjacent to an apartment complex.
