Wisconsin Weather Alert: Icy Roads Develop by 3 p.m. as Freezing Mix Hits the North

Green Bay, Wisconsin – Drivers across northern Wisconsin will need to plan ahead Monday afternoon as snow and a light glaze of ice move in ahead of the evening commute, creating slick road conditions that could linger well into the night.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 p.m. Monday until 3 a.m. Tuesday for Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, Door, Northern Marinette, Northern Oconto, and Southern Marinette counties. Snow accumulations are expected to stay under one inch, but ice buildup around a light glaze could significantly reduce traction on untreated roads…
