Price of gas creeps up in Northeast Wisconsin, matching national trend

(WLUK) — Gas prices have risen over the past week in Northeast Wisconsin.

GasBuddy reports the average price of a gallon of gas was $2.57 in the Green Bay area on Monday, 7.4 cents higher than a week earlier. That price was up a dime over the past month, but down 31.7 cents from a year earlier.

In the Appleton area, drivers were paying $2.53 per gallon on Monday, up 4.7 cents from a week earlier…
