Amazon donates 1,000 doorbell cameras to the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – For domestic violence survivors trying to rebuild their lives, a doorbell camera can be the difference between safety and danger.

On Monday, Amazon announced it’s donating 1,000 Ring devices to the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence — devices that will go directly to survivors as they transition to independent living.

The announcement was made at a press conference at the Walter Sillers Building in Jackson, where Attorney General Lynn Fitch, Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence Executive Director Joy Jones and Amazon’s Head of Community Affairs Territa Rodgers outlined how the technology could save lives…
