Malachi Morgan of men’s track and field was named athlete of the week for Feb. 2-8, 2026, after setting a school record in the high jump at the UAB Invitational.
Morgan cleared a height of 1.99 meters (6 feet, 6 1/4 inches), surpassing his previous record by nearly five inches.
