MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WBAY) – A man described as a notorious human trafficker in Milwaukee was sentenced to almost 22 years in prison after pleading guilty to sex trafficking and other crimes.
The U.S. Attorneys Office says Morrell Johnson, 35, who was also known by the name “Money,” trafficked heroin, cocaine and fentanyl and recruited addicted women for sex acts. He collected the money they received from performing sexual acts as well as the debt of drugs they used.
Court records say he used physical violence with “hands, fists, feet, threats, needles and guns” if a sex worker refused or tried to leave. Prosecutors say he also killed a dog as a form of intimidation.
