SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Shreveport Police have arrested a man accused of using fake money to buy food at two separate Wingstop locations.
On Friday, Feb. 6, around 11:15 p.m., Shreveport Police were informed that a customer at the Wingstop located at 1655 East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop used fake money to buy food. Officers responded to the call and arrested Tobias Lockett at the scene.
Detectives spoke with the district manager, who claimed that Lockett came into the business around 9:50 p.m. and tried using multiple counterfeit bills to buy food. The manager quickly realized that the bills were fake and used delay tactics to keep Lockett at the store while calling the police…
