A skinny dirt lot in Fort Collins’ burgeoning Downtown River District is on its way to becoming The Linden — a two-building, mixed-use development with 160 built-to-rent apartment units.
An LLC linked to Texas developer Realty Capital Residential purchased 360 Linden St. from Blue Ocean Enterprises for $7 million on Jan. 12, according to Larimer County property records and the Colorado Secretary of State’s website.
The oddly-shaped 2-acre tract is the proposed home of The Linden, which will have ground-floor commercial space with apartments above — 20% of which are earmarked for affordable housing, according to past Coloradoan reporting.
