LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Montana woman pointed a gun at a Nevada state trooper with her finger on the trigger, prompting the officer to shoot at her in Las Vegas early Sunday, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
Barbara Lu, 51, faces charges including assault on a protected person and DUI, records said.

A Nevada State Police Highway Patrol trooper stopped Lu near Interstate 15 and St. Rose Parkway on Sunday, Feb. 8, after Lu ran a red light, officials said.
Lu “refused to comply” with the trooper’s orders, which included her refusal to roll down her window and exit the car, prosecutors said in court Monday. During the incident, a dog attacked the trooper, and Lu then allegedly pointed a gun at the man with her “finger on the trigger.”…
