LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of North Las Vegas after she said excessive force inside the jail led her to miscarry.
Brandy Hood’s attorney, Carl Arnold, filed the federal lawsuit on Friday against the city and a corrections officer.
On Aug. 30, 2025, North Las Vegas police arrested Hood on a warrant related to a 2023 traffic case, where prosecutors charged her with driving without a license and registration, according to records.
