Three transported from overnight house fire in Akron

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – Fire crews in Akron were called to the scene of an occupied house fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Flames broke out shortly after 2:30 a.m. at a home on the 2100 block of Stabler Road.

According to a media release, occupants of the home were able to get out on their own before fire crews arrived. Two people were transported from the scene in stable condition. A firefighter was also transported from the scene, treated and released.
