Belfort Furniture is establishing a new distribution center in Berryville, marking a significant expansion of the company’s logistics and operational footprint while retaining core operations in Sterling.
One of the nation’s largest independent home furnishings retailers, family-owned Belfort Furniture will transition its distribution operations from its 83,000-square-foot warehouse on Ocean Court in Sterling to the new Berryville complex that includes260,000 square feet of space across 22 acres. The Berryville facility was once the largest apple distribution plant east of the Mississippi River. In later years, it operated as a cabinet manufacturing plant.
Belfort will continue to operate its corporate offices and 150,000 square feet of retail showroom space at its Belfort Park location along Rt. 28 in Sterling.
The Berryville location along Rt. 7 and near I-81 better positions the company to serve rapidly growing markets in Winchester and Jefferson County, WV.
