McDonald’s Elevates Valentine’s Day with Free McNugget Caviar Kits

For those looking to add a touch of unexpected luxury to their Valentine’s Day, McDonald’s has announced a unique partnership with Paramount Caviar, offering customers a chance to receive a free McNugget caviar kit.

Starting at 11 a.m. ET today, February 10, McDonald’s fans can visit a dedicated website for the opportunity to claim one of these exclusive kits. Each kit is designed to provide an “elevated experience” and includes a one-ounce tin of Baerii sturgeon caviar, crème fraîche, a $25 McDonald’s gift card for McNugget purchases, and a sophisticated mother-of-pearl caviar spoon.

A McDonald’s spokesperson shared with Food & Wine that the inspiration for this promotion came directly from their customer base. “McNugget Caviar was created because of our customers,” the spokesperson stated.

“They’ve been pairing Chicken McNuggets with caviar long before we made it official. We know our fans want to enjoy elevated experiences without the price tag, so we want to treat you to something special – completely on us.

We’re pairing savory caviar with our signature McNuggets for a Valentine’s Day celebration unlike any other.”

The concept of caviar-topped chicken nuggets has gained surprising traction in recent years, even earning a nod from celebrities like Rihanna, who has reportedly enjoyed them as a “soccer-mom snack.” The upscale combination also made headlines when it was offered for $100 at this year’s U.S. Open, sparking widespread social media discussion regarding its value.

This Valentine’s Day promotion follows a series of notable initiatives from the fast-food giant. Recently, McDonald’s delighted nostalgic fans by reintroducing its popular “Changeables” Happy Meal toy line across U.S. restaurants.

These Transformers-style toys, which first appeared in the late 1980s and early 1990s, transform from familiar McDonald’s menu items into robots, dinosaurs, and other imaginative characters. The updated collection features 16 distinct characters with new designs inspired by the original releases.

Beyond collectible toys and caviar, McDonald’s also recently introduced a hot honey sauce, available for dipping or topping various breakfast and chicken items. The chain has also hinted at the upcoming U.S. launch of the much-anticipated Big Arch burger, already available in Canada and Portugal, with an expected debut in early March. This new burger features two quarter-pound beef patties, white cheddar cheese, crispy and slivered onions, a poppy-and-sesame seed bun, and a new Arch sauce.

Looking ahead, the beloved mint-flavored, green-colored Shamrock Shake is also set to make its annual return in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
