BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A New York State police trooper was hospitalized and released after she was pushed by a car while assisting a driver on the side of the Thruway in Lancaster, according to police.
The trooper was assisting a disabled motorist around 2 a.m. Saturday morning when a Kia allegedly spun out and hit a stopped patrol car. The car hit the trooper, who then fell back into the snow off the shoulder of the westbound Thruway.
She was taken to ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries…
