On Tuesday at 5:37 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Elmore and Lee counties.
The weather service states to expect, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” comments the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
