14-year-old killed in overnight accident in Vanderburgh County

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says a 14-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle while walking down the interstate.

Sheriff Noah Robinson says the boy had left his home in Warrick County and at some point made his way on the interstate, although they are not sure of the time or where he entered the highway.

“When we arrived, we found a white SUV in the median that had sustained front end damage and found a deceased 14 year old lying on the side of the roadway,” Robinson said…
