GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Former University of Florida student, Erin Jackson competed in the 1000-meter speed skating competition at the Winter Olympics today, finishing in sixth place as her former engineering community gathered to support her.
The UF engineering department transformed the lobby of the engineering building into a watch party for current students to view Jackson’s performance.
