Slow-Braised Birria Food Truck Coming to St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Birria King Food Truck, a new mobile concept focused on slow-braised birria dishes, is planning a soft opening on Friday, February 7, from 1 p.m. — 9 p.m. at Outcast Brewing Company in St. Petersburg. Owner Moe Alaraj told Business Debut the truck will primarily serve the St. Petersburg and Tampa areas, with additional appearances at private events and pop-ups.

Birria King operates as a food truck rather than a brick-and-mortar restaurant, allowing the business to move throughout the Tampa Bay region while maintaining a consistent menu and cooking process.

What to Expect

Birria King centers its menu around traditional birria, a slow-roasted meat preparation simmered for hours in a seasoned consommé. Alaraj said the meat is cooked low and slow, shredded, then returned to the broth to absorb flavor before being served.
