Illegal e-motorcycles seized in Encinitas
Deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff’s North Coastal Station seized several illegal e-motorcycles in Encinitas this past week. The riders were found operating unregistered and unlicensed e-motorcycles on public roads, which are not street legal.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds residents that e-motorcycles are different from e-bikes and must be registered and licensed to operate on city streets.
