South Tampa staple Wright’s Gourmet House is opening its first satellite location, at Tampa General Hospital’s Davis Island campus.
Wright’s has been serving up sandwiches, salads, and desserts from its home on South Dale Mabry Highway for nearly 60 years, and celebrated the grand opening of its first ever sister location with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the hospital Feb 6.
Wright’s Gourmet House has signed a 10-year lease for its new location — the 2,900-square-foot restaurant space near the hospital’s first-floor East Pavilion entrance previously occupied by McDonalds.
