Workers are still putting the finishing touches on Wilmington’s second Target location more than three years after plans were first submitted.
An opening date for the Monkey Junction Target, located at the corner of Carolina Beach and Piner roads, has yet to be officially announced. Plans for the store were confirmed in January 2024 after a year of speculation surrounding Big V Property Group’s submittal of plans for a 149,214-square-foot retail building at the site.
