FLORIDA — One person was critically injured Monday afternoon after a glider crashed in western Boynton Beach, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Fire rescue officials said crews were dispatched at approximately 3:15 p.m. to a reported aircraft incident in the 10000 block of Denoeu Road. The crash occurred within a private aviation community, authorities confirmed.
When first responders arrived, they found that a glider had come to rest about 100 yards south of a designated grassy landing area. One individual was transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert and was listed in critical condition. No additional injuries were reported…
