WCMA Invites Public to Visit World Championship Cheese Contest
Cheese aficionados and those interested in learning more about this versatile dairy product are invited to attend the World Cheese Championship Contest. The event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 4, inside the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
“This contest is truly a showcase of the world’s best cheeses. Public access to the preliminary rounds of judging offers cheese lovers a rare opportunity to see the industry’s top technical experts in action,” said WCMA Contest Director Kirsten Strohmenger. “We’re thrilled to provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the craftsmanship behind the dairy products they know and love, and discover new dairy favorites.”…
