MINNEAPOLIS — Barricades and impromptu roundabouts have popped up across Minneapolis in the past several weeks, as people attempt to slow down federal immigration agents and their activity.
Roadblocks were raised on Portland Avenue in the hours after Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent. Those were removed several hours later.
Those manning one barricade told our crews this past weekend that they’re doing this to slow down federal immigration agents, saying that agents are speeding through neighborhoods. They added that overall, the barricades are to keep their neighborhoods safe…
