TEQUILA could soon be available for sale in bars after a local brewery launched legal action against US state regulators.
If the law suit is successful, a new rule could be introduced to allow some bars to sell the popular liquor.
Alcohol regulations in Nebraska currently state that any brewery which produces more than 20,000 barrels anywhere in the country is technically a “manufacturer”.
This means it is prohibited from selling liquor it buys and can only sell what it produces…
