Woman sentenced to probation for crash that killed off-duty Adams County deputy

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — A woman was sentenced Monday afternoon for a crash that killed an off-duty Adams County sheriff’s deputy in 2023.

Kayla Carroll pleaded guilty to one count of vehicular homicide – reckless driving in December. On Monday, a Weld County judge sentenced her to eight years probation.
