New research shows Reno rents increased 5.8%

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – New research shows that rents in the city of Reno have increased 5.8% over the last year.

Data collected by the Nevada State Apartment Association shows that the average asking rent in Reno is $1,727, $40 short of the national average.

The occupancy rate is currently 91.2%, up from 87% last year, while 1,404 units remain under construction…
