A flight from Boston was involved in a security incident after it landed at Aruba’s international airport, causing the airport to close for several hours on Monday.
Airport operations were temporarily paused with access to terminals restricted for travelers and all flights to Queen Beatrix International Airport were diverted. The runway remained closed until 5 p.m.
