COLUMBIA, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Fort Mill man was indicted by a grand jury after being accused of an illegal purchase of a firearm.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for South Carolina, the indictment alleges that 65-year-old Gregory L. Tischuk made a straw purchase of a firearm. He is accused of purchasing it from a large retailer, and lied about who the firearm was for, which is a violation the Firearms Transaction Record Form 4473.

The Form requires buyers to affirm they are purchasing the firearm for themselves.
Tischuk faces a maximum penalty of 10 years, a fine of $250,000 and a term of supervised release of no more than three years in addition to any term of imprisonment, plus a special assessment of $100. Tischuk has been released on bond…
