South American woman pleads guilty to bank robbery charges, including in Fresno

A 27-year-old Chilean woman pleaded guilty to bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery stemming from a string of bank and ATM heists throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.

Maite Celis Silva was part of a South American crime group that broke into multiple financial institutions from May through October of 2024.
