First Alert Forecast: A milder, quieter week ahead

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A split pattern in the jet stream this week will force coldest air to the north of us and stormiest conditions to the south. That will leave us in a bit of a “Goldilocks” zone of weather through at least Friday: not too cold, not too warm, not too stormy…as benign as the weather gets this time of year 🙂

Tuesday will be the warmest day this week with highs near 40º – a few degrees cooler than that north and west of Fort Wayne, a few warmer south and east. It will also be breezy at times with gusts between 20 and 30 mph.

Wednesday through Friday look pretty mundane: mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30s…
