Police need to enforce speed limits on I-81 | PennLive letters

Why do we not see our state police making an attempt to slow down speeders and ticket reckless drivers? Our roads and highways are becoming killing zones, and no one seems to want to do anything about it.

The section of Interstate 81 between Linglestown and the Wade Bridge is posted 55 mph; trucks and cars alike routinely drive 75-80. Ironically, from that stretch of highway you can almost throw a stone to state police headquarters on Elmerton Avenue, but there’s no police presence.

A police car in the median does not count if officers don’t get after violaters…
